The Bat Who Couldn't Fly

Prologue
There once was time where there was the most powerful bat in the world and his name was Kevin. He fought many battles and was known as the nicest bat any bat could have met, except for any of his enemies.  Now after some time, Kevin started to get lonely, so he went around the whole entire world just to find his special girl. When he finally did she was the most beautiful and rare bat that he ever saw. Her name was Elizabeth and she was an albino bat.
After a couple of weeks the bats were engaged and then after a month they were married. Kevin retired from his fighting job when he found out that Elizabeth was pregnant with four baby bats. They were excited and when the babies came they were all beautiful and healthy, all except for one. The others were boys and were named Kyle, Harold, and Eric. The other baby was a girl and she was the unhealthy one because she too was an albino. Her name was Mimi and she couldn’t fly.
Story
Mimi was frustrated. She had to sit in the cave all night long, while her brothers got to fly and use their eco location to get their food. She couldn’t even fly or use her eco location because her stupid albinism. She just didn’t get it. Her mother was an albino and she didn’t have any problem flying or using her eco location. It just wasn’t fair.
Mimi finally got up walked around the floor of their cave. Since she couldn’t fly, that meant that she wasn’t able to hang upside down from the cave ceiling. She was her sleeping corner ready to search for some mice, when her brothers arrived from their hunting.
“What’s up?” Eric said as Harold and Kyle nudged her with their usual hellos.
“Nothing, just thinking about how it would feel to hang upside down.” Mimi said with a hint of sadness. Kyle and Harold looked at each other with their beady eyes that had a look of mischief.
“What are you…?” Mimi started before she was pulled upside down with Kyle and Harold in the flying in the air.
“Ahhh!” Mimi screamed as they flew higher and higher until they reached the ceiling of the cave.
“Grab on the ceiling rocks with your feet!” Eric yelled as suddenly Kyle and Harold let go of Mimi. She grabbed on with her feet and it was very difficult for her since she never attempted this in her life. Just when Harold and Kyle hit the cave floor though, Kevin and Elizabeth came in.
“What is this? Why have you done that to your sister when you know she can’t fly?!” Kevin yelled in anger at his boys as they cowered to the wall behind them.
“Dad, she just wanted to know how it felt to hang upside down.” Eric spoke up as he walked over to his mother. “Mom you knew how it felt, tell dad please?” Eric said to his mom as Elizabeth looked up at her daughter.
Mimi was confused as ever. Did Eric just say that mom was just like her? Did that mean that mom didn’t know how to fly before whenever she couldn’t” Mimi looked down at her family when she finally noticed that everyone was looking at her.
“Umm, I’m confused?” Mimi said questionably as her father and mother fly up to grab her legs.
“Let go honey.” Elizabeth commanded as Mimi let go and was slowly descending towards the floor.
When Mimi was situated on the floor again Kevin started to speak “Honey, I know you’re confused, but let me explain this to you. When you find you mate you will be able to fly and use your eco location. It is the curse that was put on your mother that makes you incapable to do anything this: Since your mother is an albino she had carried curse put on her because being an albino is rare. When she was little her mother had her and she too found out that your mother couldn’t do anything.  The curse went that if any family had a female albino bat they weren’t able to fly or use eco location until they find their mate. And since I am our mother’s mate, she can fly.”
“That means I’ll be able to fly soon since mating season is soon.” Mimi said with a new found hope.
“Yes honey, in fact we found your mate now and he is waiting just outside of the cave.” Elizabeth stated happily.
At this Mimi ran outside. In front of her was indeed her mate and he was the most handsome bat she ever seen. She ran to him and smiled. She began flapping her wings and to her amazement she was flying. Her mate laughed and flies up to her.
“So your Mimi, well I’m Matt.” He said proudly.
“I guess you’re my mate!” Mimi shouted as she flies upward towards the moon.
And they lived happily ever after until they had a girl bat who was albino.
