My Favorite Season

My favorite season is Spring. I was born in the late Spring, so that means I should have a natural like for Spring. I would not choose any other season because Summer is too hot, Autumn is very boring, and Winter brings coldness. Whereas, Spring brings life and some rain. It brings flowers to bloom and we have longer daylight days.

During the Spring I could do a lot of things because it can be a little cool, warm, or a little hot. That way if I feel like it I could go swimming. I might stay outside and ride my bicycle. I might go and plant a garden, so they would be ready to harvest in the Fall. I seem to get less sick during the Spring. I also just like to go and read a good book.

Even though the Spring seems a bit boring right now from reading what I wrote, I still like it better than the other seasons. Until I change my mind again, my favorite season is Spring. I  might change my mind about Spring because of my indecisiveness. Who knows? Maybe next time I might say my favorite season is Summer because of an exciting event occurred.

Game Show?

If I could be on any game show I wanted it would be difficult because I do not really watch game shows that much and I do not know many out there. The ones that I do know do not really seem appealing to be on because for one, if I were actually on one of those things, I would probably not win. I am very unlucky at winning things like prizes, but if it were something they gave me to study to answer, I would definatly win because I have a good memory for information you give me with time to study. But, if you just drop me in a game show, I know for sure that I would be shy and not answer any questions, so I would immediatly be disqualified. I would be mad though because I like winning and I am sort of a sor loser even though I do not show it. I would think over and over in my head what I could have done and how they could have given me a warning. I would stress ove what I could have done and wish I could turn back time just to see how it would have went if I won.

My Home

The thing I like best about my home, is that someone is always there no matter what time it is. I can always come home from school and find my family there. The thing is, I know when my family is there because for one thing, we are the loudest house on my block. We are always yelling about something and my little sister is always having a tantrum, so you pretty much can hear us throughout my whole block.

It would not be my home, if it was not for the noise. Since we are a big family, I think we are expected to have some noise. If that is not it, then my family is weird, but that is just who we are. If it was quiet on my block, that usually meant that either my little sister was away or we were all gone.I feel that if there was not any noise in my house I would know no one was there or my little sister was gone.

Sometimes I would want some alone time and privacy, but I know I would never achieve that as long as my family was there. I would only achieve half of the privacy if I stayed up late at night while the others were sleeping, but never full alone time. But, the thing is that I do not like being alone all the time because it makes me feel unprotected and lonely. That is why I prefer staying at my home where there is at least one person there.

Working as a Cheerleader

If I worked at a football stadium, my job would be to cheer on the football players while doing cheers. That means my job title would be a cheerleader. I would be the best one there and I would not even had to worry about paying for a ticket to get in because I basically was apart of the team. I would only have to worry bringig a couple of dollars to buy some snacks if I got hungry.

My job as a cheerleader would be, just as I said before, cheering on the football players and doing cheers. I would also do routines that my fellow cheerleaders and I made up. I would be have to always have a smile on my face and wear a cheerleading outfit. I also would have to be loud when I say my cheers. Other than that, I would have to make sure my body stays fit because cheerleading is a sport, even though many do not think it is. I would hae to watch my diet when I eat, so I would not be able to each large portions of junk food.

I would love my job. I would not trade for the world and I would put 100 percent of my ablity in my job. I would strive to be the best cheerleader there, so that when they ask me what I do, I would proudly say "I am a cheerleader!"

Four Years Ago

Four years ago, I was a twelve year old. So that means that I am a sixteen year old. Even though I am sixteen, there is not much that has changed regarding what I can do now that I could not do when I was twelve. The things that I can do now include: staying out later, having long sleepovers at my friend’s house, going to informal dances, watching higher than PG-13 movies and being responsible for getting myself to and from school. That is about it and I really cannot say more about this subject because I still have a lot of restrictions.

A Monkey as a Pet?

A monkey as a pet? That is a great question to ask someone randomly when you have nothing else to talk about. The question could only go ways, either they make good pets,or they make horrible pets. If someone randomly asked me this question I would gladly tell them that a monkey would make a horrible pet.

I think that monkeys would make horrible pet because they are not meant to be pets. First of all they are wild animals no matter how many different ways that you put it. If you keep them in a science lab or a zoo they are still wild. This is why they make horrible pets because no matter how long they are your pet, they will turn on you. For example, the lady who was mauled in her tge by her pet monkey because it did not recognize her anymore even though she had it for a long time. This proves that if you slightly change your appearnce the monkey will embrace it's wild side.

Even though you might think "Oh, I would never change my appearnce so the monkey would not attack me," think again. It might not be you who it attacks. It could be your sister or friend or maybe even a stranger and they might want to press chargers against you or maybe even sue you. If either or happens, you will be facing the horrible consequenses with harm to you, or harm to someone else and a depletion of your money.

The youngest person I know

If I had to describe the youngest person that I know, it would be my neighbor’s son who lives down the street from me. He is around three years old and he is very active. He knows how to ride a skateboard since he could walk. He is such a talented three year old. I am sort of jealous of him because he is able to ride a skatebored with little to no trouble while I have so much trouble trying to not fall off of the skateboard. Other than this, I do not know a lot about him, but I do know he will be four soon.

The oldest person I know

If I had to describe the oldest person that I know, I would have to say that it is my Great Aunt Ruby. She is around her eighties, but she looks around her sixties. She is very healthy and I wouldn’t be surprised if she lived to be one hundred years old. She currently lives with her husband and her children visit her all of the time.
My Great Aunt Ruby is from my maternal side, which means she is on my mother’s side of the family.  She was my grandfather’s sister and in their family I think she was the sixth child out of the nine siblings she had, while my grandfather was the last. So, my Great Aunt Ruby is my grandfather’s older sister.  She is one out of the four remaining siblings, in which my grandfather is not included.
Great Aunt is very loving towards my mom. This is mostly because my mom spent most of her childhood life over someone else’s house and she would often be over hers playing with her cousins. Because of this, my mom always calls Great Aunt Ruby, Auntie and I sometimes will too.  Auntie was and still is a loving mother and Aunt. And even though, she didn’t finish perusing her career in nursing, she still makes a little money making her own jewelry.

My Bedroom Walls

If I was a wonderful painter and my parents let me paint anything on my bedroom walls, I would be ecstatic. I have always wanted to be able to decorate and paint my bedroom to look just like it was right out of a Sears or Ikea catalog. I would happily paint it all on my own with no help at all.

Since this would be my bedroom walls and my little sister's, I would have to divide it up with her. I would get the wall next to my bed and the wall with my window in it. The other two walls would be hers, so either I could paint her sides or not. If she would ask me though, I would paint her side a bright rainbow with a cloud at the end of it.

On my side of the wall, I would paint a waterfall with trees surrounding it and it would sort of connect with the rainbow. The waterfall would look so realistic that when you look at it, you would feel like you are by an actual waterfall and you will be able to hear it. I would include a lot of blue and green and white colors for this. there would be birds flying around the waterfall. The rainbow would be more of a fog around the waterfall. It would look something like this, but with a rainbow attached with it.

That would take up three of the wall space, so that means there would be one wall free. On this wall I would paint a self portrait of myself watching the waterfall in some adventurous clothes. Above that, I would paint my first name elaborately.

The Bat Who Couldn't Fly

Prologue
There once was time where there was the most powerful bat in the world and his name was Kevin. He fought many battles and was known as the nicest bat any bat could have met, except for any of his enemies.  Now after some time, Kevin started to get lonely, so he went around the whole entire world just to find his special girl. When he finally did she was the most beautiful and rare bat that he ever saw. Her name was Elizabeth and she was an albino bat.
After a couple of weeks the bats were engaged and then after a month they were married. Kevin retired from his fighting job when he found out that Elizabeth was pregnant with four baby bats. They were excited and when the babies came they were all beautiful and healthy, all except for one. The others were boys and were named Kyle, Harold, and Eric. The other baby was a girl and she was the unhealthy one because she too was an albino. Her name was Mimi and she couldn’t fly.
Story
Mimi was frustrated. She had to sit in the cave all night long, while her brothers got to fly and use their eco location to get their food. She couldn’t even fly or use her eco location because her stupid albinism. She just didn’t get it. Her mother was an albino and she didn’t have any problem flying or using her eco location. It just wasn’t fair.
Mimi finally got up walked around the floor of their cave. Since she couldn’t fly, that meant that she wasn’t able to hang upside down from the cave ceiling. She was her sleeping corner ready to search for some mice, when her brothers arrived from their hunting.
“What’s up?” Eric said as Harold and Kyle nudged her with their usual hellos.
“Nothing, just thinking about how it would feel to hang upside down.” Mimi said with a hint of sadness. Kyle and Harold looked at each other with their beady eyes that had a look of mischief.
“What are you…?” Mimi started before she was pulled upside down with Kyle and Harold in the flying in the air.
“Ahhh!” Mimi screamed as they flew higher and higher until they reached the ceiling of the cave.
“Grab on the ceiling rocks with your feet!” Eric yelled as suddenly Kyle and Harold let go of Mimi. She grabbed on with her feet and it was very difficult for her since she never attempted this in her life. Just when Harold and Kyle hit the cave floor though, Kevin and Elizabeth came in.
“What is this? Why have you done that to your sister when you know she can’t fly?!” Kevin yelled in anger at his boys as they cowered to the wall behind them.
“Dad, she just wanted to know how it felt to hang upside down.” Eric spoke up as he walked over to his mother. “Mom you knew how it felt, tell dad please?” Eric said to his mom as Elizabeth looked up at her daughter.
Mimi was confused as ever. Did Eric just say that mom was just like her? Did that mean that mom didn’t know how to fly before whenever she couldn’t” Mimi looked down at her family when she finally noticed that everyone was looking at her.
“Umm, I’m confused?” Mimi said questionably as her father and mother fly up to grab her legs.
“Let go honey.” Elizabeth commanded as Mimi let go and was slowly descending towards the floor.
When Mimi was situated on the floor again Kevin started to speak “Honey, I know you’re confused, but let me explain this to you. When you find you mate you will be able to fly and use your eco location. It is the curse that was put on your mother that makes you incapable to do anything this: Since your mother is an albino she had carried curse put on her because being an albino is rare. When she was little her mother had her and she too found out that your mother couldn’t do anything.  The curse went that if any family had a female albino bat they weren’t able to fly or use eco location until they find their mate. And since I am our mother’s mate, she can fly.”
“That means I’ll be able to fly soon since mating season is soon.” Mimi said with a new found hope.
“Yes honey, in fact we found your mate now and he is waiting just outside of the cave.” Elizabeth stated happily.
At this Mimi ran outside. In front of her was indeed her mate and he was the most handsome bat she ever seen. She ran to him and smiled. She began flapping her wings and to her amazement she was flying. Her mate laughed and flies up to her.
“So your Mimi, well I’m Matt.” He said proudly.
“I guess you’re my mate!” Mimi shouted as she flies upward towards the moon.
And they lived happily ever after until they had a girl bat who was albino.

If I could have lunch with any Famous Person...

If I could have lunch with any famous person, it would sort of be difficult. It would be difficult because I would not know who to chose because there are so many famous people out in our world today. If I had to come down to a choose though, I think I would have lunch with Johnny Depp. I think that Johnny Depp is eccentric and different and because of this I think that it makes him a distinct individual. I really like his acting skills because he sometimes acts loopy.
When we get to our lunch I would ask him a look of questions. I also would ask him to act for me. I would ask him if he really liked his career and if he got a chance to spend time with his family often. I would just want a pleasant little chat about random stuff. Since he is a Gemini and so am I, I would try to find out what we have in common. Then when our lunch is done, I would ask him for his autograph and for me to take a picture with him. I might or might not try to keep in touch, but I might be to scared to ask.

My Brother and Sisters

I have three sisters and one brother, so that in total makes five children. Two of my sisters are older than me and my brother and other sister are younger. My oldest sister is 19 years old, my second oldest sister is 17 going on 18, my younger brother is 13 and my youngest sister is 12.
All of my siblings are loud. We yell at each other almost every single day or we just yell for fun. The 19 year old is obviously the first born in my family. She is very blunt with people and she can be goofy at times. She takes college classes and has a boyfriend. She is forever taking my clothes to wear them and my jewelry and she is very bossy and at times mean. She is also more outgoing out of my sisters and I.
The 17 year old is quite odd. She is very quiet, but she is very cruel. She likes to hit me, pretending that she knows karate, and she gives everyone the evil eye if you bother her. Other times though, she is goofy and then in one second she is annoyed with me, so I have a feeling she is bipolar.
My brother is quite weird too. He says that he never gets embarrassed, so he would go out and dance in front of a crowd of people. He does not like doing his homework, so he is hounded by my parents every single day to get it done. He is taller than everyone in my house except my dad. He is a sly fox because he could make a deal with you in a minute and swindle you out of the deal. He is forever being Tom with my little sister, while she is Jerry because they always play nice one second and then they are fighting with each other. He is also more outgoing than my sisters and me.
If my brother and other sisters are weird, then my youngest sister is beyond weird. She is so bad and belligerent. She would look like a little sweet, innocent, thick girl, but when she is around her family she is a little devil. Every single day we have to hear and see her throw a tantrum over something as little as not getting my mom's attention when she was discussing something important with my other sister. She is so loud that I bet that everyone on my block can hear her. When she throws her tantrums, she always aims for me first to hit, then she throws stuff around and cries. The thing is that we do not know why she acts like that and only that way when she is near her immediate family. Other than that she gets mad easily, she is supposedly quiet at school and pleasant to her friends.
Oh, I forgot to mention that we all love our cat. We would make a cat voice when we talk about him and sometimes we are unaware of it. The one who made us talk like that was my youngest sister and she is worse than everyone else. We do it moderently, but she is just obessed with cats. She even wants about six of them when she gets older.

If I could have any animal for a pet...

Even though I have a cat and I love him, if I could have any animal for a pet, it would be a horse. I personally love horses and would die to ride one again. In my mind, the horse would be beautiful because it would be mine. It would be a palomino horse, which is a horse that has a gold coat and a white tail and mane. It would be a mare and I would name her Buttercup. She would be a wild horse in which I would only be able to calm her down and I would be the only one who could ride her. She would be stubborn and she would like to scare others that were not her owner. I would want for her have the best treatment, so I would move out of my house to a house with a barn, so I could be with her almost 24/7.

Her diet would consist on oats, hay, apples, carrots, barley, maize and of course water. For snacks and goodies, I would feed her sugar cubes. She would be trained by me on a snack system, so that for every good thing she would do, I would give her a treat. I would not punish her if she did something wrong. She would have her own stall and she might share the barn with others because I would not want for her to be lonely while I was at school.  I would feed her everyday and make sure she always had enough water. I would clean her stall every five days and I would brush her fur and maybe even braid her tail and mane everyday.

I would love Buttercup, because I would go riding with her every single day and would train with her. I would teach her how to jump and run around an obstacle course designed for horses. I would enter her into contests and even if she did not win, I would celebrate with her because she will always do her best. She would be the best pet ever and she would be mine.

My Journey on a Pirate Ship

We were having a blast. I had invited my friends Dinah and Teresa over for a sleep over and it was well over 11 o’clock P.M.   We had just polished off our cherry and pineapple Popsicles and the last bag of Doritos that was now in a cluster near our empty soda cans. Dinah was showing us her favorite online manga site when a pop up came up. It was not like any regular pop up because this one didn’t even look like a pop up. It looked more like an advertisement to join something. Being the only one who found it interesting, I pointed it out to my friends.
“Look at this thing, its cool.” I said while reading it.
“What are you talking about? It is only about some pirate show thingy that is probably a scam.” Teresa said not looking twice at the sidebar.
“Yeah!” Dinah agreed not taking her eyes off of the center of the screen.
I wasn’t so easily convinced about the scam thing. For some reason I believed that something was different with it. So I stole the mouse from Teresa and clicked on the sidebar. Instantly some instructions came up on the screen.
“Hey, why you do that!?” my friends shouted at the same time.
“It’s my computer, anyways look at the screen there is some instructions and I think that we should follow them.” I said as I grabbed a notebook and pen from my backpack that was safely hidden under my bed.
“Leann! Are you crazy?” Teresa yelled.
“It could be a creeper or a kidnapper or a murderer.” Dinah said as she went over to her overnight bag to put on some socks.
“Let me write down these instructions, I’m bored and it is my sleepover, so I want an adventure and that is just what this is going to give us.” I smiled as they read the screen. On it said “Adventurers Wanted” in big bold print.
“I guess this could work, I mean I do kind of have a feeling that this would be fun.” Dinah said after she gave it some thought. I smiled at her and turned towards Teresa to find her pen in hand writing down the instructions. At this I started giggling. I just loved my friends.
When Teresa was done she turned towards Dinah and I. We were fully dressed in jackets, jeans, shirts, boots, and caps. According to the first instruction we were to get dressed and wait till it was 12 o’clock midnight to leave the house. It was 11:54 P.M. now. Luckily my parents were sleep by now even though they were supposed to supervise us. Teresa was now hurrying throwing on her jacket, shirt, jeans, and a borrowed pair of boots from me.
“Ok, what does the instructions say exactly because I honestly only saw the first line.” I said as we were standing on my front porch. It was cold and our little jackets couldn’t muster enough heat for our little bodies. It was a good thing we all wore our hair down to warm our necks, because someone forgot to add that it was cold outside so dress warm. Also, we brought some food and water in a bag and emergency stuff just in case something went wrong.
“Umm, it says next we are to wait until we see a flash of red, then turn left towards the pier area. Then we are to run around the blue post three times all the while saying “We are here for you.” By this time we should be halfway up the pier, so we are to scream at the top of are lungs. We then find a stick from a bush and blindly walk straight while counting to twenty. And then it says we shall open our eyes to see…” Teresa said with a chuckle.
“Sounds crazy and stupid, but this could be fun.” Dinah said as she stared across the street. Before anyone had the chance to speak, we all saw this red flash. It was so quick that we almost didn’t even see it.
“The flash!” I yelled as I started running left towards the pier.
“Wait!” Dinah yelled as she sprinted after me.
“Stop running so fast!” Teresa yelled after us. She wasn’t on to run, but since we were running she had to too because she then started running after us.
We all came to the blue post and smiled at each other. Dinah and I were a little out of breath, but surprisingly so was Teresa. We chanted “We are here for you” running around the post three times. We were halfway at the pier and I looked at Teresa.
“Now we scream?” I asked and she gave a nod. We screamed to the top of our lungs and start laughing. We sounded like a bunch of crazed teenage girls, but that is what we were. We were on to the next instruction. Our eyes were closed and we each had a stick in our hands. If anyone was watching us they would think we were retarded. We had counted to twenty and opened our eyes.
In front of us was a big pirate ship. It looked just like the ones from “The Pirates of the Caribbean Movie.” It was amazing. I was sure that our mouths were hanging open like fish. At this thought I closed my mouth and looked at Dinah and Teresa. They were shocked indeed with their mouths hanging open. I focused my gaze back to the ship when I noticed that two people were getting off the ship. One looked old and I assumed he was the captain because of the way he walked and the other was a lady who looked around her late twenties who seemed to be his wife. The man had an eye patch and a peg foot he even had the customary pirate hat and parrot
They walked up to us and bowed in front of me. I looked around and saw that everyone else, except for Dinah and Teresa, were in a bowing stance. The captain then looked up into my eyes and spoke.
“Ahoy, there Leann, Dinah, And Teresa the oh so “Chosen Ones.” You have all accepted our challenge and therefore I must serve you all on your adventures. Follow me now to the deck.
We were then ushered on to the deck of the boat. All around there were crew members. Some were dirty, the others decent. The big cream colored sails were out at once and in a second we were out in the sea. I turned my head to talk to Dinah and Teresa, to find them still in shock. I pinched their cheeks.
“Ow!” They both said at the same time. They then turned back to me. “Is this a dream?”
“No, because if it was I wouldn’t be able to smell the wet wood.” I said matter-of-fact as I sniffed the wooden pole that held the highest sail.
                                                                         ~
“Wow” we all said as we saw the captain turn the wheel.  It was now 5:00 a.m. according to my watch and we had just been awakened by the captain’s wife. Before we went to sleep that night we went in battle with another pirate ship and even captured some prisoners. It seemed to take forever, but it only took thirty minutes. We then were able to dock to find treasure on an island. The best thing about it was that we got to be able to open the treasure chest and give directions to everyone.
The captain was now by our sides. “Wow that was amazing last night! I never had so much excitement before or a feeling of being victorious.” I said as Dinah and Teresa nodded their heads with agreement.
“Well you haven’t seen anything yet.” He said with a smile that showed his gold teeth. He pointed out the ocean. We could see thousands of pirate ships everywhere. “Wherever you guys want to go they will take you there.”
We all looked at each other and laughed heartily. This might take awhile, but who are we kidding. We are the “Chosen Ones” and we have all the time (and places) in the world.

Deepest Fear

If I had to describe my deepest fear, it would sort of be difficult to explain because I have so many fear.  This meaning I would have to look deep inside myself to find it. I fear being wrong, being completely alone after a long time, being on high roller coasters(or ride), failure, and not knowing what to expect. Since it is necessary for me to chose one, I would have to say it is not knowing what to expect, since this seems the greatest one.

I have a fear of not knowing what to expect because I always seem to get really scared when I'm thrust into a situation I know nothing about. This is why I really can't try new things without first hesitating. I always wonder what will happen and I will always assume the worst would happen. For example, my first day at my Police Explorer Academy I was scared out of my wits because I didn't know what to expect. Luckily for me, the next week I was prepared, knowing what to expect, but I was still scared because the D.I.'s were frightening.

Restaurant

If I had my own restaurant I really would not be that excited about it because I really do not care for them or fancy food really, but since I would have to I would have to. I would name my restaurant Delectable Dishes I guess. The restaurant would be a restaurant that specialize in different dishes around the world. That way it would not be difficult for someone to choosing a restaurant because there would every kind of dish in the world there. They would be able to go into the restaurant and get things from American foods to foods all the world to Japan.
The restaurant would have a big entrance, blue paint, and hanging all around the front of the place would be little flags representing each country. On the inside there would be no separation of the food variety, so every one eats in one place. There would be a variety of workers and chefs from all around the world and they would all have to speak a little English in order for me to understand what they are talking about or if there was a problem.

Imagine you woke up and saw a dinosaur in your backyard...

It was Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and I just woke up from my lovely sleep when I heard this weird noise. It was like a screech/cry and it was low. Everyone in my house was gone. My oldest sister was out with her boyfriend. My older sister was at her college class. My mom was at work. My dad was up in Bakersfield visiting my grandmother with my younger brother and sister. So I had the house to myself and that meant I had to find out what that noise was.

I was about to ignore the sound and go back to sleep, when I heard that weird noise again. Being me, I was curious, so I got out of bed and threw on some jeans, a t-shirt, and some shoes. Not caring about my hair, I searched my house high and low for something that would make that noise all the while listening for that noise, but I didn’t find anything unusual.

Disappointed, I went to the back room and sat in front of my computer. I started it up and was checking my email when I heard that weird noise again. It was louder than the others and this time I heard a tree or something crash with a loud boom. I jumped and looked towards the backyard. It was coming from the backyard!

I ran to the back window that overlooked the backyard and what I saw shocked me. It was a huge pterodactyl near my plum tree that was no longer implanted in the soil. A freaking huge pterodactyl was in my backyard. Still shocked, I stared outside with my mouth slightly ajar. This couldn’t be happening! Dinosaurs were extinct, so this must be a fake right?

Determined to find the truth, I went to my patio to get a better look at the thing. This way it wouldn’t notice me outside and decide to make me its next meal. I hid behind the unplugged dryer and peeked through the fence thing separating me from the pterodactyl. The pterodactyl took up at least half of the grass area in my backyard. It had eyes black and lifeless like a shark’s and brown leathery looking skin. Its wings were huge even though they weren’t spread out, so that was something to look at.

I was about to go and get a camera to take a picture when I saw something close to the pterodactyl. They were as big as a small bowling ball, cream colored and there were about three of them. They kind of looked like eggs. Wait a minute! Eggs! This was a girl pterodactyl and she just laid her babies right in the middle of my backyard. I was frozen at my epiphany.

All this time, the pterodactyl was moving its head back and forth like it was taking in its surroundings. This dinosaur must not know that it is in the wrong era and in the wrong habitat. Knowing this I realized that I had to tell the police or the CIA or maybe even the firefighters. Man, why did everyone have to be gone when a freaking pterodactyl was in my backyard! Wait, oh my gosh! My cat is out there. Just when I thought that, I saw Mandy cowering under the plum tree. He was stuck under the weight of the tree! Man, I extremely really need to call those people.

I backed away as slowly as possible and then ran into my house. I didn’t really care that there it might have saw me. As long as her attention wasn’t on Mandy, I was fine. I ran to the closet phone which was way in the living room at the front of the house because the other closet phone was in my parent locked room. I dialed 911 and waited impatiently as the phone rang for about four times, then someone picked up.

“Hello, you have reached Hillsville police station.” A lady answered on the phone. I then launched into my story as fast as possible.

“OMG, OMG, OMG! Excuse me for being freaked out but there is a huge pterodactyl in my backyard. I don’t know what to do. I am all alone. I want my mommy. Please help me, my cat is out there and he can be eaten. I don’t want my cat to die I love him so much. Please help me.” I said in such a hurry that I doubt that the lady understood anything I said.

“Wait a minute and slow down. Did you just say that there was a pterodactyl in your backyard?” the lady responded with a bored tone.

“Yes, as in a dinosaur.” I said in a tight voice as I was close to tears.

“Okay honey; let me tell you this once and only once. There are no such things as dinosaurs. They are extinct and that means you are delusional. Now, if you call again I’m going to have to charge you for a false call, but I’ll be nice and let this slide. Now go on with your day and have a pleasant one.” She said as she hung up on me.

I can’t believe that that lady just basically told me I was a liar. I mean she didn’t even let me explain what happened. That was so rude. Now, no one is going to listen or believe me because no one believes in dinosaurs in my family. Oh wait, I have a camera.

I ran into my room and searched high and low for my cell phone. I found it under my sheets and turned it on. Once it was on I was about to go to the picture file when I noticed that I had no minutes. Ah man! That means I can’t send it to anyone. It is bad enough that I don’t have an usb cable to hook up to my computer. I screamed out loud into my pillow. So that means I’m doomed. I plopped down on my unmade bed and put my head between my knees. Then I heard a cat cry out in pain and that weird noise again. I jumped up. It’s found Mandy.

I ran towards the patio and went out the door. The pterodactyl had Mandy in her mouth and her head was now turned in my direction. She dropped a now dead Mandy on the backyard ground. She gave a loud screech and opened her wings. She was about to attack me when…

“Cut!” the director, Robert, screamed at me and the crew.

He came up to me and said “Come on now darling, you can’t have a bored face when the pterodactyl is supposed to be about to attack you, now can you.” Robert said as he led me to the snack table. At that very moment my stomach rumbled.

“Can I eat now, I haven’t eaten since I came to the set and that was five hours ago?” I asked as I stared at the delicious doughnuts.

“Fine, but remember when you get attacked make sure you remember to grab the metal pole behind you. I really don’t like you having to do this scene over and over, but we have to make it perfect.” With that Robert left me to eat and I thought about how long this was going to take.

If you could cook any meal...

If I could cook any meal for my family, it would be difficult because I for one cannot cook and it would be difficult for me to cook something. Even though I cannot cook, I can make a limited amount of food and they are things like sandwiches and boxed food like hamburger helper. Since I do not really know what I should, I have decided to make some breakfast pizzas with a fruit smoothie.

The breakfast pizzas ingredients include: English muffins, Prego sauce, shredded cheese (any kind, but I usually use cheddar), and lunch meat or bologna. I would also use a long pan, an oven, a knife, and a spoon. They are very easy to make a kid can do it and they look like little pizzas.

1. First, I would set the oven to broil, high. Then I would grab seven muffins and cut the in half and set them in the pan.
2. Next, I would grab a spoon and dish out the Prego sauce onto the muffin halves until the muffin’s top is completely filled with sauce.
3. Then, I would grab some shredded cheese and sprinkle just enough to cover the sauce.
4. Then, I would cut up some lunch meat into four pieces and place the slices on top of the cheese.
5. Next, I place the pan in the oven and turn the oven light on.
6. Finally, I wait for about ten minutes approximately to take them out. If they smell and look like they are burnt, then they are so if I usually take them out before they burn. I would place two on each plate (7 in total).

The little pizzas smell just like pizza sauce and my mouth is watering to taste the cheese, but first I would make the fruit smoothies. This would include frozen fruit (strawberries, pineapples, papayas, and mangos), orange juice, and apple juice. I would use a blender.

1. First, I would pour the orange juice and apple juice in the blender until it gets halfway up.
2. Next, I would put about maybe a couple of handfuls of frozen fruit in.
3. Then, I would put the top on the blender and press mix/ice crush and maybe blend until the blender runs smooth.
4. Finally I would pour the smoothie into seven different cups.

Great! I made a breakfast meal of a fruit smoothie and a breakfast pizza. That would be all that I make, but if someone wanted a little extra something like yogurt for example, they would have to get it themselves.

Describe ... when you were brave

There are not a lot of times that I have been brave in my life, but there is one brave act that I stuck out more than the others. This was the time when I was going to the Police Explorer Academy on this one particular Saturday. Now I went to this Academy on previous days I was always so scared that I would feel a little faint before we had to be in our platoon at attention. This Saturday was no different in the morning, since I was scared, but this particular Saturday I felt sick for real. Later on I figured out that I had the flu.

We were all standing at attention and we had our inspection time for maybe about thirty minutes. After that we split up into two big groups and one D.I. came around to us to teach us how to march. It was going okay before I started to feel really faint and they told me to sit out because I had that deer in the headlights look on my face. Eventually I went back with the others and went on with the day through our lectures and 3 minutes.

It came time for us to do P.T. and I was dreading it. We were to jump a six foot walk, walk a balance beam, do bleachers, do 20 sit-ups, 10 push ups, something similar to tires and then we sprint to the finish and all of this around three minutes. It wasn’t the fact that I had to do this optical course, but the fact that I was feeling sick again. I could’ve told a D.I. I wasn’t up to the health, but I didn’t.

I did the optical course and made it without fainting or anything. It might have took me a little more time than I usually did to do it, but that was sort of expected. I found out that if I told myself I could do it, and then I could. I had to be brave enough to hold it through the optical course and put my body through all of that.

Imagine you had a hundred dollars...

If I was given a hundred dollars I would be happy, but if I couldn't keep it I would understand because money seems to slip away from me so fast. Since I couldn't keep my hundred bucks, I would give it to my mother. It always seems like that I am always asking for something that I need for school or how my sibilings need it too. There never seems to be a time where she would get to use any of her money to do or get something nice for herself. So, I would give the hundred dollars to my mother and tell her to take a day away from us and to buy something nice for herself and to do something nice for herself like go to the spa or something. I wouldn't want her to do anything else with that money, so I would have to keep everyone away from her as long as she still has the money and that includes me too.

Do you remember...

Do you remember when you had so many ideas in your head that when it was time to write them down you forgot them?
Do you remember when you finally remembered what you are aboutto write after your mind went blank for a couple of seconds?
Do you remember how you remembered all of your childhood memories all of a sudden?
How you decided to eat dirt.
How your sister tricked you into picking up a slug.
How you loved to sing nursery rhymes.
Do you remember how you only had a two room house with seven people in it?
How you had to have two bunkbeds in a room for four girls and an air mattress in the living room for your brother.
Do you remember when you had so many pets?
How you had pigeons that cooed and a dog that barked.
How you had turtles and fish that swam and a cat that meowed.
Do you remember how there are just too many do you remembers to even write down?

This journal is...

This journal is my cat Mandy. You might think "Why is this girl writing about a stupid cat?" Well to tell you the truth, my cat is not stupid. I am writing about him because I want to tell you about how I got my cat and why for a fact he has a girl name.
One day my older sister was at her high school, when she saw a small, grey, tabby cat stuck in the fence of her school. She had the heart (she always likes picking up stray animals) to pick up the kitten and take it home with her. When she got home she placed him in our back patio and my siblings and I were very secretive with him because we did not want our parents to know because my dad does not like us bringing home pets. That plan failed because when it started to get dark the kitten was meowing up a storm. it was then that he was found out and we were forced to release him.
The thing is that we did not release him because we in fact took him inside our room and hid him for a couple of days. Soon it became too risky, so we placed him on the front porch. We feed him every day and he stayed like a good kitten. We began thinking of a name for him and we at first named him Mattie, but no one really liked it so my older sister who found him named him Mandy. I thought it was too feminine so I called him Mandible, so that Mandy can be his nickname.
Now, he is still is apart of my family and doing great. He even got plump at one time so we let him wander outside the back porch where he resided. He then became very gaunt from cat fights and lack of eating, but he now knows the consequences, so he lies low. He even answers to his name, which I think is so wonderful. I hope he finds another cat though because I really want kittens!

In this dream...

In this dream I had last night, I was with my friend helping her with her driving lessons. She was supposed to be in the car driving to some unknown place, but we ended up going off track and ended up in this abandoned parking lot. There were others who had followed us in a pickup truck and a van and I assumed they were friends of my friend. We got out of the car and were in front of this building across the street from the abandoned parking lot. This lady began to harass us, but we ignored her. It was then that we realized that there was a blind person with us.
We made our way inside of the building and we found these bungee jumps that we were supposed to use to take us up to another level of a building. I unfortunately had to help the blind man get situated into one of the bungee jumps and it was a little difficult because he was a little uncooperative. After I finally got the blind man situated, we bungee jumped to the next level.
We found ourselves in a very grassy area with trees and we all concluded it was some sort of park. Somehow I knew that we were supposed to find an object or device that would take us to the next level. We searched and after some time my friend found a tree with millions of yellow fireflies all around it. We approached the tree and I noticed that there was more people that joined our little group.I do not know how anyone figured it out, but someone grabbed at the fireflies and began to pull and run around the tree. The fireflies seemed to fly faster and faster and one by one everyone jumped in. I tried, but was the first one to bounce out of it. I tried again and was successful, because I was pulled into the fireflies who seemed to act as a portal.
The portal took us to the outside of this old theater. Being the only brave one, I made my way inside and found the back part of a recording studio. inside stood the lady who harassed us and she took of running the moment I caught her eye. I took this opportunity to sneak in the others to the front door. When we went through the doors we found ourselves back in the abandoned parking lot. It was then that I realized that we went through all of this because of a driving lesson.
