There are many time periods that people wish they could live in. I know for a fact that many people would might want to live during the time where the women wore corsets and did not expose their skin like they do today. Or maybe they would want to live during the decade where break dancing was all hip and cool. Or maybe they would even want to live in a futuristic decade where you would not know what to expect. As you may have noticed people could have different decades that they would choose to live in. I know this because I would want to be different and live during the 1900’s.
During the 1900’s, the Wright Brothers had decided to learn how to fly with their airplane models. I would want to live during this decade because it would give me the chance to see all of the fascinating inventions from the Wright Brothers and I would be able to see all of the airplanes and how they would be different than modern day airplanes. The only thing that would be disturbing would the fact that I would have to become White. I would not think it would be safe for me to remain Black while going back to the time where Black people were not welcome in the White community.
In conclusion, if I were to live in any decade I would choose the 1900’s. I would choose this decade because I would be able to see the first airplanes. The only bad thing about living in that decade would be the fact that I am Black and we were not really welcomed back in the day.
